Create a free account.

Before entering any of our competitions, you need to create a free account. Simply click on the Login/Register button, select the 'Register' option, and provide your details to create and activate your account. Kindly note that participation in our competitions requires you to be a resident of the United Kingdom and at least 18 years old. We conduct verification of the ID and address of all winners before awarding prizes, so please ensure your eligibility and that the information on your ID matches your account. Once you have a Philip Ireland Competitions account, you gain access to enter the live competitions available on our platform.

Explore our website to discover the ongoing competitions open for entry. Click on each competition to find further details about the prize, the number of available entries, the competition's end date, the option for free postal entry (for how to claim your free postal entry please read the FAQ below), and any specific entry restrictions, such as the maximum number of entries per person.

Answer the multiple-choice question correctly.

To participate in our competitions you must correctly answer the skill based question. Each competition features a unique multiple-choice question that must be answered correctly during the entry process. Providing an incorrect answer to the question will result in being charged but not entered into the competition. Therefore, please take your time to ensure a correct response. Each competition has a limited number of entries available, this allows you to know your odds of winning each prize before entering.

Complete checkout.

Once you have provided the correct answer to the multiple-choice question and selected the desired number of entries, follow the on-screen steps to complete your purchase. Upon successful completion, you will receive an email confirmation containing your ticket numbers. These details can also be found in the 'My Account' section of the Philip Ireland Competitions platform when you are logged in. If the status indicates 'Processing' or 'Completed,' your order has been successfully processed. However, if the status shows 'Failed' or 'Cancelled,' your order did not go through.

Wait for the Live Draw

Once the total number of available entries is sold out or the competition reaches its end date, the competition will close. Shortly afterward, the date and time of the Live Draw will be announced. The Live Draw takes place on our Facebook channel, where a winner will be randomly selected from all correct entries using the Google Random Number Generator.

1. You may enter a Competition (whether a Standard Competition or an Instant Win Competition) for free by complying with the following conditions:
2. Send your entry by pre-paid first or second class post to the Promoter at the following address: Philip Ireland Competitions, Unit 2, Court Farm, Lower Lemington, Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, GL56 9NP
3. Hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the random draw.
4. Include with your entry the following information:
- Details of the Competition you wish to enter
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Your postal address
- A contact telephone number and email address and
- Your answer to any Competition Question.
5. Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.
6. You can submit multiple free entries for any Competition, provided you follow the entry limits set by the Promoter. The maximum number of entries allowed per participant for a Competition will be detailed on the relevant Competition webpage on the Website. However, please note that each free entry must be submitted and sent to the Promoter individually. Entries sent in bulk in a single envelope or on one postcard will not be considered as separate entries. If we receive a bulk entry, it will be counted as a single entry.
7. To participate in a Standard Competition, your entry must reach the Promoter before the Closing Date and before all tickets for that Competition are assigned. Free entries received within 48 hours of the Closing Date or when all tickets are sold/allocated will not be considered for the current Competition. Instead, at the Promoter’s discretion, they may be entered into the next Competition of comparable value that still has available entries. Entries received after the Closing Date or when all tickets are sold/allocated will not be considered for the current Competition or any other Competition. It’s important to note that proof of posting does not guarantee entry into the random draw and will not be accepted as evidence of receipt.
8. To qualify for participation in an Instant Win Competition with a free entry, your submission must be received either before all tickets have been sold/allocated or, in cases where not all tickets are sold/allocated, within a 48-hour window after the Closing Date. This ensures your entry will be considered for the Instant Win Competition.
9. If the total number of entries received reaches a predefined cap or limit before your free entry arrives, you will not be entered into the Competition or any other Competition, except as described in paragraph 6 above.
10. To process a free entry, entrants are required to have an account on the website, and all provided details must align with the information on their account.

Join us on the Philip Ireland Competitions Facebook page for an interactive live draw. We use Google Random Number Generator, this ensures the winner is selected at random. We provide a demonstration on the live stream to show how Google Random Number Generator works. To prove the draws are done live we’ll ask Alexa for the date and time. Furthermore, we engage with the audience during the live stream, proving that each draw occurs in real-time.

The winner of the competition will be informed within 7 days after the competition ends, either through a phone call or an email. If you update your contact information before the closing date, please notify us. We will make a repeated effort to reach you using the provided information. In the event that we are unable to contact you within 14 days of the closing date, we retain the right to select a new winner, and you will forfeit your eligibility to claim the prize.

There are three methods to locate your ticket number for a draw:

Upon entering a competition, your ticket numbers will be displayed on the confirmation page.
You will also receive a confirmation email to the email address linked to your account, containing your ticket numbers.
By logging into your account, accessing the 'Dashboard' section, and choosing either 'Current' or 'Past', you can click on 'View ticket numbers' to view your ticket numbers.

Instant win competitions feature preassigned numbers to specific prizes at the start of the competition. When you purchase a ticket for an Instant Win competition, if any of your ticket numbers match with the predetermined numbers associated with prizes, you will be the lucky winner(s) of those particular prizes.

Let's take an example: a competition offers 1,000 available entries. When you enter the competition, your ticket numbers will be assigned completely at random. This means you could receive any range of numbers between 1 and 1,000. For instance, you might be the first person to enter the competition, but the system might assign you a higher number like 893. On the other hand, if you enter late and the system hasn't assigned a number yet, you could receive a lower number such as 78. Regardless of whether the competition sells out or there are unsold ticket numbers, all numbers from 1 to 1,000 will be entered into the random number generator.

During the Live Draw, a random number is generated, and we check it against all the assigned ticket numbers in real-time. If the number matches an assigned ticket, we have a winner. If not, we generate another random number and repeat the process until a winning number is found. This is the standard method used by The Philip Ireland Competitions and many other reputable competition platforms.

The scheduled date for the draw of each competition is displayed on the competition entry page. If a competition sells out all its available tickets before the initially planned draw date, we may reschedule the live draw to an earlier day and time.

We currently only accept customers from the UK. However, as our growth continues we may look to add additional locations, we will communicate these updates on our website and social media channels.

We kindly ask individuals who are below 18 years of age to refrain from participating, as their entries will not be included, and no refunds will be provided.

This year we will be launching our Philip Ireland Competitions loyalty points scheme where with every ticket purchase you will get points added to your account that can then be redeemed against future purchases in the form of a discount. Email subscribers will be notified first when this feature is launched.

Absolutely! All prizes showcased on The Philip Ireland Competitions are under our ownership even before the commencement of the competitions. This assurance provides you with peace of mind and unwavering confidence that the prizes are readily available, eagerly awaiting their next winners.

Prize vehicles can be collected from our company headquarters in Moreton-in-Marsh, or in rare circumstances delivery to your registered home address within the United Kingdom may be possible depending on location.

In the case of tech items or other non-vehicle prizes, they are usually dispatched directly to the delivery address registered in your account using a reliable carrier service.

AVS Policy:
This signifies that the address and/or postal code you entered during check-out does not precisely match the registered information associated with your card. We recommend verifying the details and attempting the transaction again.

Not Authorized:
This decline occurs when your bank does not recognise the transaction and chooses not to authorise the payment, resulting in a decline. In such cases, please contact your bank, and they will often unblock your card during the phone call, enabling you to proceed with check-out.

Invalid CVV/Expiry, etc.:
These declines typically arise from inputting an incorrect expiry date or the 3-digit security code located on the back of your card. Please review your details and attempt the transaction again with the accurate information.

American Express Payment:
We currently do not accept payments from American Express.

The live draw will go ahead regardless of ticket sales. Whatever date is set will be when the draw commences, and if sold out the date might be brought forward. We never change the prize on offer. Nor do we give a cash alternative that is calculated as a percentage of ticket sales instead of the advertised prize

We do not offer refunds on any entries purchased on the Philip Ireland Competitions.

Any discount codes and coupons can be applied on the cart screen where it says ‘Apply Coupon’
